Women are on a mission and formulating a wellness plan for the coming year. As part of the POPSUGAR Insights 2019 Wellness Report, we asked US women between the ages of 18 and 49 to give us a peek into their wellness journey and share more about their goals & challenges as well as the steps they plan to take along the way.
Overall, 91% of women plan to eat healthier in the coming year, representing the top wellness goal overall. Beyond a focus to make healthier food choices this year, other top goals for women include being more active (85%), exploring new ways to be healthy (84%), be active outside of a gym environment (76%), and explore a new class or wellness concept (75%).
Millennial women are slightly more likely to want to find ways to be active outside of a gym environment (79%) and to want to explore a new class or wellness concept (78%). They're also 10% more likely to want to participate in fitness challenges (46%) this year than women overall. Millennial women are as likely to plan to eat healthier and be more active compared to women overall.
