Seventy-five percent of women believe that technology can improve their happiness, so as part of the POPSUGAR Insights "Find Your Happy" study, we surveyed women to determine what specifically aspects of technology and technology products that made them happiest.
Overall, 56% of women said it was the products that made them happiest. This was more true of teen girls (65%), single women (59%), and students (62%). Among specific products cited by women, their phones (18%), computers (14%), gaming consoles (6%), and tablets (4%) made them happiest.
Nearly 29% of women cited their usage of technology and tech products as what drove their happiness. Fourteen percent of women cited a specific use in their response, and the most popular response was their ability to use technology to be able to connect and communicate with friends and family.
Sixteen percent of women cited the convenience that technology brings as what makes them happiest. As women mature and life becomes more complex, this becomes more relevant and that's why women between the ages of 25 and 34 (22%) were more likely to cite convenience as being important than women below the age of 25. However, convenience doesn't come cheap and that most likely explains why only 3% cited the price tag associated with technology and tech products as being something that makes them happy.
