Who doesn't like to be pampered? One wonderful aspect of the road to healthy living is the ability to, from time to time, hire a professional to help you get started, help you look your best, or keep you on the straight and narrow. Unfortunately, most women can't afford these luxuries all the time. As part of the POPSUGAR Insights 2014 Healthy Living Report, we wanted to know which healthy living expert would women choose if they could only choose one. Here's what we discovered.
Exercise, diet, and relaxation lead the way. Overall, 32% of women said they would choose to have a personal trainer to help them stay in tip-top shape, 22% of women said they'd have a personal chef to help prepare healthy meals, and 15% of women selected a personal masseuse to help them leave the stresses of the workweek and daily life behind.
Women between the ages of 18 and 24 were more likely to select a personal trainer than women between the ages of 25 and 34, and women between the ages of 35 and 40 were more likely to select a personal chef than younger women. Women between the ages of 25 and 29 were most likely to select the personal masseuse.
Presentation and organization round out the list. Twelve percent of women said they would choose a life coach to help guide them to be the best version of themselves, 9% selected a personal stylist or makeup artist so that they'd always look their best, 4% said they would choose a personal organizer so they'd always be on top of their game and know where those keys are, and 3% chose a personal shopper to help them navigate those busy malls and find the best deals. Amazingly, 3% of women chose none of the above, proving there really are some women who prefer to do it all themselves!
